Pharmaceutical Salt is salt that has no additives and is 99.99% pure Sodium Chloride (NaCl) or Natrii Chloridum.
Pharmaceutical Salt does NOT contain fillers, anti caking agents or preservatives. It is pure Sodium Chloride with trace mineral content that does not have any known reactive affects.
The Pharmaceutical Salt we use in our Micro Salt Generation Systems is sourced from New Zealand and supplied by Dominion Salt. This salt is used in the production of many forms of Saline: peritoneal dialysis solutions, hemodialysis solutions and hemofiltration solutions.
Pharmaceutical Salt IS NOT TABLE SALT. Table salt should never be used for Salt Therapy applications.
Pharmaceutical Salt IS NOT HIMALAYAN SALT. Himalayan salt should never be used for Salt Therapy applications as it contains trace minerals that may be toxic to some people.
Pharmaceutical Salt IS NOT MAGNESIUM SALT. Magnesium salt should never be used for Salt Therapy applications as it is exactly what it says it is “Magnesium”! This salt may be toxic to some people and should not be ingested or inhaled as a dry powder.
